I-ADARP (Inter-Agency Drug Abuse Recovery Programs) was founded in 1972 in Los Angeles by a small group of community residents and leaders seeking to end the city’s growing alcohol and drug use problems.
Since then, I-ADARP has transformed from a small outreach service into a highly active outpatient treatment center. Throughout its history, I-ADARP has worked with local schools, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and the Los Angeles County Probation Department to restore thousands of lives and families.
We believe no one need ever die from this disease.
I-ADARP prides itself on intervening at all stages of addiction. Our adult outpatient program gives daily support to anyone seeking addiction treatment. We believe that by keeping the doors open, no matter what, people are given the chance to change.
With over 45 years of experience, I-ADARP has crafted a highly effective program, serving persons from all backgrounds. I-ADARP began with a single purpose: Addiction treatment is a right, not a privilege. To this day, our mission is to continue to provide treatment to underserved individuals who suffer from addiction.
