History

I-ADARP, Inc. (Inter-Agency Drug Abuse Recovery Programs) was founded in 1972.

In the 1980s, I-ADARP began providing drug education/counseling services in Camp Scott and Camp Scudder.

I-ADARP partnered with the Los Angeles County Probation Department in 1990 and implemented the nation’s first drug treatment boot camp.

In the early 2000’s, I-ADARP provided clinical services to youth and their families under four JJCPA (Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act) gang intervention subcontracts. Services were provided in the San Fernando Valley, Hollywood, Venice, Burbank and Glendale. Services entailed home-based clinical counseling to youth as well as family sessions. Over two hundred youths and their families were supported.

From 2001-2002, thanks to JJCPA-awarded contracts, I-ADARP provided intensive transition aftercare services in East Los Angeles.

Beginning in 2009, I-ADARP carried out three home-based contracts through Los Angeles County Probation Department.

Our most recent home-based, high-risk program is a long-term program of up to 9 months based on progress.

Currently, I-ADARP focuses on providing outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services to persons with Medi-Cal, My Health LA, and those who do not have insurance coverage.
